“Deliciously Ella” Gets Married on Mustique Island

The popular blogger and author – better known to her fans as “Deliciously Ella” – has tied the knot to her partner of two years, Matthew Mills, in a wonderfully low-key beach-side ceremony on Mustique Island – an exclusive private island resort located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Although the ceremony itself took place on Saturday, the happy couple is believed to have arrived at Mustique towards the beginning of last week, in order to sort out some last minute “wed-min” before the rest of the wedding party arrived on the island.
Low-Key Ceremony in High-Luxe Surroundings
The loved-up couple had opted to keep things as low-key as possible, choosing to get wed surrounded by just a cluster of their closest friends and family. Despite the small guest list however, the wedding certainly had a big resonance throughout the blogosphere, with many of Ella’s 822,000 fans taking to the internet to congratulate the new Mrs Mills.
Taking a break from the four-day-long festivities, Ella took to the ‘net to thank her fans, posting a selection of envy-inducing snaps on Intragram and Twitter. Dressed in an elegant silk bridal gown by designer Jenny Packham, the blogger looked every inch the blushing bride, pictured walking hand in hand along the island’s beautiful beaches with her new husband.

Mustique Island has a special place in the heart of healthy-eating guru Ella Woodward-Mills – her mother, supermarket heiress Camilla Sainsbury, has long-since owned a house on the island. When choosing the destination of her big day, the young blogger is said to have wanted to add to an already endless array of happy memories of the resort.
The Deliciously Ella star isn’t the only one to tie the knot on Mustique’s famous beaches, however. Indeed, the island is enjoying something of a special reputation for celebrity weddings. Singing sensation Cheryl Cole got married to restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini 2014 and prior to that, Sir Paul McCartney celebrated his wedding to Nancy Shevell back in 2011.
The 1,400 acre island is a veritable celebrity magnet – aside from the aforementioned showbiz celebrations, the likes of Prince William & Catherine Middleton, Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger and recently deceased music legend David Bowie are all known to be firm fans of the island.
