Hurricane Irene has forced a dozen cruise ships to change their itineraries after battering the Bahamas throughout the week according to a CNN report. Cruise liner Royal Caribbean also secured and evacuated Coco Cay, its private island resort in the Bahamas to ensure maximum safety.
Many major US airlines are changing their routes and some are even relaxing their change fee policies, but all are monitoring the storm as it develops.
