After enjoying a picture-perfect wedding in New Orleans, Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola and her new husband, Fray guitarist Joe King set off on the honeymoon of a lifetime on a private island.

Just days after enjoying a traditional French Quarter wedding at New Orleans’ spectacular Maison Montegut (Louisiana, USA), newlyweds Candice Accola (Vampire Diaries) and Joe King (The Fray) packed their designer bags and jetted off on the honeymoon of a lifetime, commandeering an entire island just off the coast of Belize for a wild week of wedded bliss.
The young couple were understandably over the moon at their incredible island surroundings – indeed, just minutes after landing on the picturesque private island, the 27-year old Vampire Diaries star uploaded a series of photos to her Twitter and WhoSay profiles, much to the delight (and envy!) of her millions of followers.
“Twas a Honeymoon in paradise!@aprivateisland #rumfunsun #cayoespanto #unBelizeable,” enthused Candice, before new hubby and Fray guitarrist, Joe King (34) got in on the social media action, posting three simply stunning pictures of the couples’ temporary island abode via his Instagram handle, @josekingseco.
Their destination of choice was Cayo Espanto – a world-class private island paradise located on the cusp of the Caribbean Sea.
